Day 1

Londorossi Gate to Forest Camp

•Elevation (ft): 7,800ft to 9,500ft

•Distance: 6 km

•Hiking Time:3-4 hours

Habitat: Rain Forest We depart Moshi for Londorossi Gate, which takes about 4 hours, where you will complete entry formalities. Then drive to the Lemosho trail head (another hour to reach the trail head).Upon arrival at trail-head, we eat lunch, then commence through undisturbed forest which winds to the first camp site.

DAY 2

Forest Camp to Shira Camp 1

•Elevation (ft): 9,500ft to 11,500ft

•Distance: 8 km

•Hiking Time 5-6 hours

•Habitat: Moorland We continue on the trail leading out of the forest and into a Savannah of tall grasses, heather, and volcanic rock draped with lichen beards. As we ascend through the lush rolling hills and cross several streams, we reach the Shira Ridge before dropping gently down to Shira 1 camp. The view of Kibo from across the plateau is amazing.

DAY 3

Shira Camp 1 to Shira 2 to Moir Hut

•Elevation (ft): 11,500ft to 13,800 ft

•Distance: 14 km

•Hiking Time: 5-7 hours

•Habitat: Moorland-we explore the Shira plateau for a full day. It is a gentle walk east toward Kibo’s glacier-ed peak, across the plateau which leads to Shira 2 camp on moorland meadows by a stream. Then we continue to Moor Hut, a little used site on the base of Lent Hills. A variety of walks are available on Lent Hills making this an excellent acclimatization opportunity. Shira is one of the highest plateaus on earth.


DAY 4


Moir Hut to Lava Tower to Barranco Camp

•Elevation (ft): 13,800ft to 13,000ft

•Distance: 7 km

•Hiking Time: 4-6 hours

•Habitat: Semi Desert From the Shira Plateau, we continue to the east up a ridge, passing the junction towards the peak of Kibo. As we continue, our direction changes to the South East towards the Lava Tower, called the “Shark’s Tooth.” Shortly after the tower, we come to the second junction which brings us up to the Arrow Glacier at an altitude of 16,000ft. We now continue down to the Barranco Hut at an altitude of 13,000ft. Here we rest, enjoy dinner, and overnight. Although you end the day at the same elevation as when you started, this day is very important for acclimatization and will help your body prepare for summit day.

DAY 5

Barranco Camp to Karanga Camp

•Elevation (ft): 13,000ft to 13,100ft

•Distance: 5km

•Hiking Time: 4-5 hours

•Habitat: Alpine DesertAfter breakfast, we leave Barranco and continue on a steep ridge passing the Barranco Wall, to the Karanga Valley campsite. This is a short day meant for acclimatization.

DAY 6

Karanga Camp to Barafu Camp

•Elevation (ft): 13,100ft to 15,300ft

•Distance: 4 km

•Hiking Time: 4-5 hours

•Habitat: Alpine Desert After breakfast, we leave Karanga and hit the junction which connects with the Mweka Trail. We continue up to the Barafu Hut. At this point, you have completed the South Circuit, which offers views of the summit from many different angles. Here we make camp, rest, enjoy dinner, and prepare for the summit day. The two peaks of Mawenzi and Kibo are to be seen from this position.

DAY 7

Barafu Camp to Summit to Mweka Hut

•Elevation (ft): 15,300ft to 19,345ft (and down to 10,000ft)

•Distance: 5 km ascent / 12 km descent

•Hiking Time: 7-8 hours ascent / 4-6 hours descent

•Habitat: Arctic Very early in the morning (midnight to 2am), we continue our way to the summit between the Riemann and Ratzel glaciers. You head in a northwesterly direction and ascend through heavy scree towards Stella Point on the crater rim. This is the most mentally and physically challenging portion of the trek.At Stella Point (18,600 ft), you will stop for a short rest and will be rewarded with the most magnificent sunrise you are ever likely to see (weather permitting). From Stella Point, you may encounter snow all they way on your 1-hour ascent to the summit. At Uhuru Peak, you have reached the highest point on Mount Kilimanjaro and the continent of Africa. Faster hikers will see the sunrise from the summit.From the summit, we now make our descent continuing straight down to the Mweka Hut camp site, stopping at Barafu for lunch. You will want gaiters and trekking poles for the loose gravel going down. Mweka Camp is situated in the upper forest and mist or rain can be expected in the late afternoon. Later in the evening, we enjoy our last dinner on the mountain and a well-earned sleep.

DAY 8

Mweka Camp to Moshi

•Elevation (ft): 10,000ft to 5,400ft

•Distance: 10 km

•Hiking Time: 3-4 hours

•Habitat: Rain Forest After breakfast, we continue the descent down to the Mweka Park Gate to receive your summit certificates. At lower elevations, it can be wet and muddy. Gaiters and trekking poles will help. Shorts and t-shirts will probably be plenty to wear (keep rain gear and warmer clothing handy).From the gate, you continue another hour to Mweka Village. A vehicle will meet you at Mweka village to drive you back to Kili Cottage Hotel in Moshi.

DAY 9:

From Maasai Osiligilai Masai Lodge •Distance: 20 kms

•Arriving Time: 3-4 hours

•Habitat: Cold because is at Mount Kilimanjaro and Mount Meru
In this day you will start travelling to Sanya village is outside the Moshi Town and is at Hai District. Osiligilai Masai Lodge you will learn how the Masai trible lives and their tradition style, Spear competition, Masai dancing.You will have overnight here with comfortable bed-sand all staffs.

DAY 10

OSILIGILAI MAASAI LODGE TO TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK

Game drives and spends the rest of the day on game with your overnight at the TARANGIRE SAFARI LODGE. The park is famous for its large number of elephants, huge baobab trees and tree climbing lions. The guests to the park can anticipate to see any number of resident zebra and wildebeest in addition to the less habitual animals. Other familiar animals include waterbuck, giraffe, and olive baboons. Tarangire is also home to more than 550 species of birds, the park is a place of safety for bird partisans who can expect to see dozens of species even in the dry season. DAY 11:

TARANGIRE TO LAKE MANYARA NATIONAL PARK

Morning game drive in Tanangire after your breakfast at Tarangire Safari Lodge, proceed with the game as you exit Tarangire. Arrive Lake Manyara in time for your game drive, full day game drive in Lake Manyara National Park. Lake Manyara is known for the flamingos that dwell the lake. Because of the Lake, the National Park is a good spot for bird watching. While more than 450 species of birds inhabit the park and many remain throughout the year. Lake Manyara is also famous for its tree climbing lions. Other Wild animal can be found in Lake Manyara is leopards, masai giraffe, lions, elephants, Thomson’s, cheetahs, blue monkeys, dik-dik, gazelle, hippo, impala, Grant’s zebras and more inhabit the park and many can be seen throughout the year. There is a hippo pond at one end of the park where visitors can get out of their cars and observe from a safe distance. Overnight at Simba Lodge/Marera valley Lodge in Karatu. DAY 12:

LAKE MANYARA TO SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

Depart Marera valley Lodge/Simba Lodge and proceed to Serengeti National Park via Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Serengeti presents the largest concentration of plains game viewing in Africa and the entire world. It’s an incredible procession of almost two million wildebeest and zebra that takes place each year from January to December in a different location of the Serengeti, many people visit the Serengeti to see the migration and big cats. But even when the migration is quiet in another part of Serengeti, the Serengeti proffer arguably the most brilliant game scrutiny in Africa, big cat such as lions, leopard, cheetahs, a large bull buffalo, groups of elephant, giraffe, hartebeest and thousands upon thousands of antelope, Grant’s gazelle, kongoni, eland, topi and impala. DAY 13:

FULL DAY IN SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

The whole full day is devoted to the game drive in the plain of Serengeti National Park. The places that you will be visited today will determine upon where the migrating herds are. Also, the predators normally move in a very careful and strict way to behind the trekking animals and comprise cheetahs, lions and leopards in the trees especially acacia. You will spend your second night in the Serengeti at SERENGETI Wilderness/ Acacia tented Lodge. Meals plan full Board (Accommodation, Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner).

DAY 14:

FULL DAY IN SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

The morning is inserted out for the extra game drive in the Serengeti, go for an early morning game drive with your breakfast box, then come back to the lodge for hot lunch and after lunch have a relax in your room until the evening where you gonna go for another game drive. This is the greatest choice of the game drive as you might detect some animals that you have not seen yet. Animals perform to be more effective in the morning before the warmth rising around midday. Day 15:

SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK TO NGORONGORO

Go for final game viewing in the morning at Serengeti National Park and in the afternoon you will exit the plains of the Serengeti and drive to the highlands of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. You will have your picnic lunch at the Nabi Gate while your driver guide is doing registration and then you will proceed to NGORONGORO Simba Lodge/ Marera valley Lodge for your dinner and overnight. Meal Plan, full board (accommodation, breakfast, lunch or picnic lunch, dinner).

DAY 16:

NGORONGORO CRATER BACK TO MOSHI AT KILI COTTAGES MOSHI

After a leisure breakfast at Ngorongoro Simba Lodge/ Marera valley Lodge then depart for half day game viewing in Ngorongoro Crater. The area is named after Ngorongoro Crater, a large volcanic caldera within the area and frequently called the Seven Wonders of the World. This Makes Ngorongoro Crater to be a largest unbroken caldera in the world, and is also one of the only places in Africa to sighting of the “big five” such as rhinoceros, lion, cheetah, leopard and elephant on a single game viewing. Other animal can be found in the Crater is Cape buffalo, hippopotamus, wildebeest, Grant’s zebra, common eland, Grant’s, Thomson’s gazelles, Waterbucks, topis, oribisus, crocodiles, Impala, Giraffe and East African wild dog.

DAY 17:

KILI COTTAGES HOTEL TO USAMBARA MOUNTAINS

In this day you will wake up ealy morning and get the breakfast. After breakfast the drive and your guide will meet you and be ready to travell to Usambara mountains located at Lushoto beside Tanga region. Approximately time you will take to reach there is about 5 hours is possible to start climbing mount usambara at 1:00. So this tour take up 6 hours to be done. After the tour you will being driven to Magoroto forest to have the overnight.

DAY 18:

MAGOROTO FOREST TO KIGOMA FOR CHIMPANZEE TOUR

During transferring time will take 09 hours to reach Kigoma Region. So after arrived in Kigoma you will have only overnight at this day because we cant do the tour at thus day because Kigoma is too far from Magoroto at Tanga. So we cant go direct to Gombe National Park for Chimpanzee tour untill the next day.

Day 19:

(CHIMPANZEE DAY)

Early morning breakfast at the hotel then going streight tot Gombe National Park and there after chimpanzee tracking in the forest, climb to the Kakombe waterfalls, also climb to Jame’s peak. Game viewing them return to the hotel for dinner and overnight;

DAY 20

STONE TOWN TOUR Stop At: Zanzibar Butterfly Centre, Zanzibar Island, Zanzibar Archipelago Your program starts with a morning visit by walk on our Historical Stone Town Tour. This tour takes you through fabled Stone Town, where history appears to stand still. With visits to the House of Wonders, the Palace Museum (People’s Palace) and the Arab Fort amongst others, it is a fascinating look at the essence of Zanzibar. Day 22:
